A.K. Gulati, MD

Board certified ophthalmologist A.K. Gulati, MD joined the Buffalo Eye Center in 1991. After buying the practice in 1998, he built a new facility encompassing medical and surgical eye care, routine eye exams, and fashionable eyewear under one roof.

Dr. Gulati graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he also completed his medical school training and ophthalmology residency. He is a member of the New York State Ophthalmology Society, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Erie County Medical Society.

Dr. Gulati is part of the staff at Kaleida Health Systems and is Chief of Ophthalmology at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. He performs surgery at the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Western New York.

Francesco Barbarossa, OD

Dr. Barbarossa is a licensed optometrist providing eye care for the whole family, from routine eye exams and contact lenses to management of ocular diseases and pre- and post-operative care.

Dr. Barbarossa is a graduate of Canisius College and completed his optometry training at New England College of Optometry.

He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association. He also serves on the board of the Western New York Society of Optometry.
